Yes, that's my latest excuse for the quiet blog. It's been a busy summer with client work, some commercial jobs and other projects. So when I haven't had those things going on, I'm squeezing in every moment of summertime fun with my girlies while I can. Now that I have a child who really has a summer and soon will have to resume a normal school schedule (by the way, who in seminole county came up with this august 16th return date?!! yuk!), summertime became really important this year. The work schedule goes on, but little things like the blog sometimes slide a bit. But then I realize I'm missing out on sharing all of my beautiful clients and so here I am. I love sharing the photos they let me take of them.
Before we get to that, I have a few announcements regarding the fall schedule. Yes, it is that time already! If you'd like to book a full session, let the scheduling begin! Keep in mind that if you'd like your photos in time for the holidays, your session must be completed prior to November 7th. If you're expecting a newborn anytime between now and the end of the year, contact us with your due date as soon as possible so we can pencil you in. If you're interested in our holiday mini-sessions, send us an email to info@amysmithphoto.com and we can let you know when the dates are available. Since the holiday minis are always so popular, we're adding some extra dates and options so we can fit more people in. This includes weekend mini dates, weekday mini dates (mornings and evenings will be available) as well as 'make your own mini'. More information on all of that soon!
We're also going to start scheduling more Lulu Belle minis. We've always had a spring set and a fall set, but since they've been so popular and we get requests for them year round, Lulu Belle Baby Boutique and I have decided we'd start offering a regular rotation. If you'd like to be notified when the dates are available, send us an email to info@amysmithphoto.com.
Whew! That was a lot of information for one post. Now get ready for photo overload. This barely puts a dent in what's waiting in the wings, but it's a start. Let's start with some babies, oh, the sweet babies.
Sweet baby girl with lots of hair.
an equally sweet baby boy with an equal amount of hair.
three adorable siblings who had me laughing and smiling the whole time I was with them.
a blended family who couldn't be any sweeter.
a one year old who has grown so much since I met her as a newborn.
two boys that could out burp me any day of the week. You do what you have to do to keep them smiling and laughing. Although this time it was me who was laughing. I never knew a 3 year old who could burp like him.
and then we come full circle to the babies again. This sweet family welcomed baby number three into their world.
and one more sweet baby girl. how many times can I use the word 'sweet' in a blog post? I think 'never too many times' is the appropriate answer when the subjects are this cute!
Love every one of thee photos! So pure.....

I just love these photos. As an aspiring photographer, what should I practice taking pictures of if I want to become a professional some day? I love taking pictures of people, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do or not.

An angel will be an angel forever. This is the precious gift a mother can have. To see her little angel smiling with an innocent smile.
