headed out, yes, again

My travel schedule is a little crazy this year.  I don't mind, I love to travel, had a job doing just that for a while.  It usually just means that I'm in overtime mode beforehand to get galleries up, orders in, calls and emails returned and all those little details taken care of before I leave.  Ahhh, crazy busy life, I love it.  Keeps me on my toes :)  Tomorrow I'm headed off for another speaking engagement with The Secret Workshop.  Can't wait to see my dear friend Cheryl and all of the excited attendees.  It's going to be a fun weekend!  I'll be back on Tuesday and will be checking voicemail as I'm able.  I may not have much access to email so if you need me, a phone call will be best.  

Before I go, I thought I'd share this fun little family.  He was a sweet little peanut  the last time I saw him.  He's till too sweet for words, *sigh* so cute!!  I always have a hard time deciding which images to post, so he may have a bunch here :)  I'll be back next week with lots more updates, have a great weekend!

they reside in my area, lots of them.  And I'm so happy they do ;)  I photographed his big brother as a newborn and now it was his turn.  Such a beautiful and sweet family.

I spotted it... right next to Selma Hayek, one of my photos on the cover of Conceive.  This is Jake, I first met him when he was itty bitty.  He makes a gorgeous cover model!

I had to share more from this little cutie that I did a sneaky peek for.  Cute isn't even an adequate word.  I heart her.  We started with a few family shots.  Big sister is equally cute.  Can't believe I've been photographing her since she was just one herself.

how quickly a year can pass

Not so long ago, he was just 5 days fresh.  And now, a happy little one year old who's beyond cute.  Love his curls and his sweet little smile.

I'm in baby heaven

There's been quite a few of them lately.  Three more this week, can't wait.  This little guy was such a cutie with super sweet parents.  I have so many favorites from their session.

If I sit still, I get bored

Yes, I just announced that I was back and now I'm off again.  I'm headed to the airport to fly to Indianapolis for a photo shoot.  I'll be back on Friday.  I will be checking email and voicemail periodically.  In the meantime, I leave you with a super cutie who just turned one.  She's going to be a big sister this fall, can't wait to meet her sibling!

happy easter!

We're back from spring break, although we didn't see much of spring where we were.  Well, I take that back.  The day we arrived it was a gorgeous 70 something degrees.  Then the next two days looked like this:

Although the kids didn't mind at all, at least not for the five minutes at a time that they'd run out there and play and then run back in wanting hot cocoa and a warm fire.  The last few days did warm up a little and we were off on nature hikes, toasting s'mores, and makin' grandma a rock garden.  It was fun.  And despite a near 13 hour car ride back (what, was everyone on 95 on friday?!), they were all soooo good.  I think they had fun.

Today ended our spring break fun with lots of family over for some yummy food, a dip in the pool (crazy that we were just in all that snow a few days ago) and an easter egg hunt.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I'll be catching up on emails and voicemail tomorrow so if you've left me  a message, I'll be getting back with  you soon.

Out of office

It's official, time to sign off for the week.  We had a busy busy day of mini sessions at Lulu Belle. Can't wait to share some of the super fun kiddos I got to see today.  It was great!  And I have loads of blog updating to do when I get back.  So for now, the office will be closed until Friday the 12th.

sisters

I photographed big sister when she was 2, so it was fun to see them together, little sister now 2 herself.  Sisters always seem to have such a bond.

these yellow flowering trees have been amazing this spring (sorry, no idea what kind of tree it is).  I'm so sad that almost all of the blooms have fallen and they're returning to 'normal' trees.  Oh well, it was fun while it lasted :)
