I met them when momma was pregnant with little man.  Possibly one of the cutest newborns ever, although his sister is pretty darn cute herself.  And just a few short months later, he's sitting up, smiling, and growing much too fast.

I'm so excited to post this.  Playground Magazine did a little spread on me and some of my tips for taking photos in their newest issue.  I've been working with the ladies over there since they started the magazine a couple of years ago and I must say that they've always been amazing.  I know they pour their heart and soul into the magazine and it truly shows.  Thanks Heather, I look forward to working with you again soon!

 

celebrating the holidays...

I like that I get to celebrate the holidays from August thru December :)  It's a great time for me to see regular clients, meet new ones, and do a little catching up with everyone.  This day of mini sessions was when we were having that crazy heat wave with record high temps.  I can honestly say it was one of the hottest days we've ever had for the fall minis.  Bless all of my sweet families who showed up with smiles on.  So many sweet families with even sweeter kids.     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

boys...

Seeing that I have two girls, three boys is a nice change of pace for me.  They're full of energy, loud, funny, crazy and so much fun.  Oh wait, my girls are kind of like that!  They definitely kept me laughing during their session, I love that.  

Still so much to catch up on from the crazy holiday season so stay tuned, it may be January before I get caught up :)  Speaking of January, the schedule is starting to fill so if you'd like something after the new year, send me an email!

 

 

 

 

Like visiting with friends...

I really love what I do.  Seeing how much the kids have grown and changed.  Trying to stop time in a photograph if not for just a moment.  These three are always so much fun to photograph and their parents couldn't be any nicer.  So good to see you all again!

 

 

 

 

catching up...

This little guy's session meant I got to do some catching up with a sorority sister.  It was so good to see her as it's been far too long since the college days.  And he couldn't have been any sweeter.  I don't think he made hardly a peep most of the time I was there.  Isn't he gorgeous?!

 

 

I imagine it's a little like being in Santa's workshop...

As we are in full swing of getting all of the holiday order in, the cards, the albums, the prints, the canvas, all the gorgeous yumminess!  It really is fun seeing it all arrive, get packaged up and sent back out and receiving the lovely and excited 'thank you's'!  

This client's beautiful canvases left the office just the other day.  I was a little sad to see them go as I was quite enjoying them myself.  I've been photographing her since she was just a newborn and every year she's even sweeter.

that little lip...

since it's nearly impossible for me to keep the blog updated during the holiday craziness, I think I'm settling in to sneaking in every once in a while as I take a quick break from my editing.  This little guy is my main man for the moment.  Isn't he the cutest?!  So so sweet.  I drove down to Miami to meet him and fell in love.  And I love this image.  Just as I get ready to click, the little lip stuck out.  Makes you wanna sneak in for a little smooch.
